Your ceremony at Copenhagen City Hall will take place in the beautiful Wedding Hall on the first floor with a view of the Great Hall. The walls are painted with scenes from old Danish folklore about courting and proposals, and the lights are dimmed to create a warm atmosphere.

The room is a perfect setting for a small, intimate ceremony for just the two of you or with your nearest and dearest.

But there is space for a couple accompanied by up to 75 guests. This will quickly generate a festive atmosphere!

The ceremony

The ceremony will start by the registrar making a short speech for you. Then you will be asked if you accept one another as spouses. After you have confirmed this, you may exchange rings if you wish. When you have signed the marriage documents, you will be handed your marriage certificates and the ceremony is over.

Your guests are welcome to take photos and record videos during the ceremony. You can also choose to invite guest to join on your phones on Facetime, Skype etc.
