Open-air wedding ceremony during Tour de France in Copenhagen

Be a part of the magic Tour experience: Get married during the legendary and magnificent cycling race

The city is all dressed up in yellow and is in a fever of excitement - because the world's biggest bike race is in Copenhagen!

The wedding ceremony will take place in beautiful and green surroundings in the park Fælledparken, also known as 'the peoples’ park', in Østerbro, where the bicycle festival FestiVélo also will take place.

After the ceremony you can join the festival by enjoying delicacies from the sustainable food market, or you can ride your bike with your loved one, family or friends in the open single start track, which this day is open to everyone, or you can relax on the green spots in Fælledparken.

How to book a wedding appointment

To book an appointment, you must first apply for a certificate of marital status. When your application has been approved, you will receive a link to the booking system. Here, you can choose between the available times at the open-air weddings yourself.

Shortly after you have booked your appointment, you will receive a booking confirmation with further details about the day.
